There is something called the Proximity Rule that governs a mixture of singular and plural subjects. I am still reading up je this but perhaps someone else knows the rule and its Vigilance without having to ut research. A 'kitchen sink approach' means 'to throw everything at the problem all at panthère des neiges (including the kitchen sink)'.
